Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms apply to your use of geautoglass.com and to quote requests submitted through it. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Quotes and estimates
Estimates are free and are not binding offers. Any price quoted before we see the vehicle is based on the information you give us — year, make, model, and a description of the damage. The final price depends on what the vehicle actually requires, including whether the glass carries rain sensors, heating elements, acoustic interlayers, or a camera mount, and whether OEM or aftermarket glass is used.
We will confirm the final price with you before starting work. You are free to decline at that point at no charge.
Repair versus replacement
Whether damage can be repaired rather than replaced is a judgment made on the vehicle. A chip repair restores structural integrity and stops the damage spreading; it is not a cosmetic restoration, and some visible blemish normally remains. Repairs can occasionally fail or the damage can spread during the repair, in which case a replacement is needed. We will tell you this risk before starting a repair.
Safe drive-away time
After a windshield replacement, the urethane adhesive needs time to cure before the glass can hold under load. Your technician will give you the safe drive-away time for the adhesive and the weather conditions on the day — typically about one hour.
Driving before the stated safe drive-away time is unsafe and voids any warranty on the installation. Please also follow any aftercare instructions your technician gives you, such as leaving retention tape in place and avoiding high-pressure car washes for the first day or two.
ADAS recalibration
Many vehicles mount forward-facing cameras for lane keeping and collision warning to the windshield. When that glass is replaced, the manufacturer generally requires the camera to be recalibrated before those systems can be relied on. Recalibration is a separate service from the glass work and is priced separately.
Where your vehicle requires recalibration, we will tell you before quoting and coordinate it. If you decline recalibration, driver assistance systems may not function correctly, and you accept responsibility for that decision. See our ADAS recalibration page for detail.
Mobile service conditions
We perform work at your location. To do the job correctly we need:
- Legal, safe access to the vehicle and room to work around it
- A reasonably level surface — glass has to be set on a level vehicle for a proper seal
- Weather that permits adhesive to cure correctly
If conditions on arrival make a safe, correct installation impossible, we will reschedule rather than proceed. Static ADAS calibration requires a controlled indoor bay and cannot be performed in a driveway.
Appointments and cancellations
Appointment windows are estimates and can shift with traffic, weather, and the job before yours. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Special-order glass that has already been sourced for your vehicle may not be returnable.
Workmanship warranty
We stand behind our installation work against leaks and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. Glass itself is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
This warranty does not cover:
- New damage from rocks, road debris, vandalism, accidents, or weather
- Damage caused by driving before the stated safe drive-away time
- Damage from a subsequent repair or modification by someone else
- Rust, prior body damage, or a damaged pinch weld that was disclosed to you before installation
- Pre-existing leaks or conditions not caused by our work
To make a claim, call (916) 495-5961 and describe the problem. We will inspect the vehicle and, where the claim is covered, re-seal or re-install at no charge.
Insurance claims
You are free to choose who repairs or replaces your glass. If you file an insurance claim, the terms of your policy govern what is covered and what deductible applies — we do not control that and we do not guarantee any particular coverage outcome. Statements on this site about insurance are general information, not advice about your policy. Check with your insurer.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, or unless the work is being billed directly to an insurer.

Photographs show previous work and are not a promise of an identical result. We may change the content of this site at any time.
